The Animal Pad

The Animal Pad is in need of a Social Media Manager to join our Creative team! If you have seen our social media, you know that we are VERY active and typically have a lot of eyes on our posts.
The Social Media team will:

  • Oversee all social media channels
  • Manage/help manage our current social media channels - Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok
  • Build up our Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok channels
  • Create new social media channels that we need - Pinterest, Snapchat
  • Utilize Hootsuite (social media marketing and management)
  • Work with Marketing to implement and manage paid ad campaigns
  • Work with Graphic Design team to create social media posts

We have Facebook and Instagram pretty well managed, but we are struggling with Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn and Pinterest (We don't even have an account on Pinterest yet!).
This volunteer must have social media management experience.

About The Animal Pad

Mission Statement

The Animal Pad is a non profit, all breed dog rescue based in San Diego, California. We are 100% Volunteer Run, donation based and we rescue dogs primarily from the streets of Mexico.

Here at TAP, we give voice to the voiceless and our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and find them the best homes possible.

The Animal Pad was founded in 2010 and we are 100% Volunteer Run and Donation Based. We rescue dogs primarily off the streets of Mexico. In addition to rescuing, we have an activism arm called TAPACT where we bring the Community together to tackle issues that affect dogs in hopes to evoke permanent change. Here at TAP, we give voice to the voiceless and our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and find them the best homes possible.
