Encourage, connect, and grow as you get to know a young adult refugee in their journey towards their education and career goals. Activities may include improving English skills confidence, practicing and improving soft skills, learning about financial management, and more. Join our Career Mentor Program and start meeting virtually with a young adult refugee, making a positive impact in your community through the next generation!
World Relief requires volunteers to complete a free 2 hour Mentor Training.
World Relief-DuPage works with churches, businesses, and individual volunteers to wholistically assist refugees, immigrants, and members of their communities to be fully functioning, integrated participants in society.
Our work consists of refugee resettlement, community-based ESL (English as a Second Language), mental health services, and immigrant legal services, employment counseling, and more. We work with volunteers from all walks of life from college students to retirees. If you want to help the refugees and immigrants in your community, we can help you connect with them.
