Habitat for Humanity's Restore helps the organization provide safe, affordable, decent housing for Polk County residents. It also a treasure box new and gently used household and construction goods.

Are you a people person? This is a great assignment for you! Help customers find what they are looking for, answer questions and straighten up merchandise.

It's flexible - you can choose your time between 9 am and 5 pm Tuesday - Saturday.

Items sold through the Restore help the organization provide safe, affordable, decent housing for Polk County residents.

Description

Leading Through Experience! You've gained a lifetime of experience. Now is the time to put your skills and talents to good use by volunteering through RSVP. RSVP provides opportunities for people 55 and over to make a difference in their community through volunteer service. RSVP volunteers contribute anywhere from a few to over forty hours a week, serving through non-profit, faith-based, and governmental agencies to help meet critical community needs. RSVP offers maximum flexibility and choice to its volunteers. RSVP matches the personal interests and skills of volunteers with opportunities to help solve community problems and offers supplemental accident insurance while on duty, and on-the-job training from the agency or organization where volunteers are placed.
