We offer 3 volunteer activities at our Surpise location and 3 shifts. Please visit us online to learn more and to view our availability!

Warehouse Activities Include:

  • Surprise Kids Cafe: We offer shifts Monday - Friday from (7:00 - 10:00 a.m.). Volunteers assist with putting food into bags for children that attend after school programs.
  • Surprise Warehouse & Pantry: We offer shifts Monday - Friday from (7:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. & 10:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.). Sort food drive items & fill shopping carts with groceries for our clients and families.

Description

St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance, the world’s first food bank, is a non-sectarian, nonprofit organization that alleviates hunger by efficiently gathering and distributing food to the hungry. Serving two-thirds of Arizona's 15 counties, the organization is committed to volunteerism, building community relationships and improving the quality of life for Arizonans in need.

A member of Feeding America, which is a network of more than 200 member food banks, St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance distributed more than 73 million pounds of food in fiscal year 2015-2016 to families and individuals.
