An invaluable piece of volunteer services at Hosparus Health is the volunteers who offer care and comfort to patients through things made by hand. Goods made by loving hands such as care blankets, sensory mitts, cloth face masks, cards, birdhouses or feeders, and meals are important contributions to the emotional well-being of a dying or seriously ill patient.
We will train you on the importance of confidentiality and other topics to ensure that you feel well equipped to serve. If you are interested in spreading joy to our patients and families with your craft or delivering these beautiful items to patients in Adair, Green, Marion, Taylor and Washington counties, please contact me today!
