Mission Statement
Hope is a national UK charity offering support to young people with a loved one who is seriously ill. Hope offers support from the moment of the diagnosis and for however long it's needed, whatever the outcome. The charity runs a national digital service offering peer and one-to-one support as well as a face-to-face service in Herefordshire offering trips, activities, youth sessions and one-to-one support. Hope also prides itself on being youth-centric, with a Youth Management Team and Advisory Team at the heart of decision-making.
Description
Hope was registered as a small, Herefordshire charity in 2010 and has grown hugely since then, expanding to now offer national digital support. Hope has been the recipient of many awards, including a Queen's Award for Voluntary Service for the charity as a whole and Diana Awards for members of its Youth Management Team. The charity is now looking to expand even further by releasing an app and is at a really exciting point in its history, with long-held plans beginning to come to fruition.
