Herefordshire charity Hope Support Services is looking for a new Chair of its Board of Trustees. This is an amazing opportunity to be involved in a growing charity with national reach at this exciting point in its history. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership at the highest level and be passionate about helping young people. They will bring energy, enthusiasm and lead the drive to achieve the charity's ambition of being recognised as an outstanding organisation. This is a voluntary opportunity on a three-year term, with the possibility of a three-year extension subject to satisfactory performance.

Mission Statement
Hope is a national UK charity offering support to young people with a loved one who is seriously ill. Hope offers support from the moment of the diagnosis and for however long it's needed, whatever the outcome. The charity runs a national digital service offering peer and one-to-one support as well as a face-to-face service in Herefordshire offering trips, activities, youth sessions and one-to-one support. Hope also prides itself on being youth-centric, with a Youth Management Team and Advisory Team at the heart of decision-making.
Description
Hope was registered as a small, Herefordshire charity in 2010 and has grown hugely since then, expanding to now offer national digital support. Hope has been the recipient of many awards, including a Queen's Award for Voluntary Service for the charity as a whole and Diana Awards for members of its Youth Management Team. The charity is now looking to expand even further by releasing an app and is at a really exciting point in its history, with long-held plans beginning to come to fruition.
