Mission Statement

All About Pets Rescue, Inc. began in 2017 with one ambition - to help rescue animals. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization to rescue unwanted and abandoned animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, ducks and other little critters. We will have them checked by a vet and updated using sterilization and to spay/neuter them. We like to provide Humane Education to the School Districts, Library Programs, and Senior Citizen Centers on Long Island. We also offer the public some information on recalls, food information, farm animal information, newsletters and much more. We provide many educational programs for the children to learn and understand the proper way of raising a pet from the time they are adopted. Learn the responsibilities of taking care of a pet and the correct training.

Description

We regularly host community events (ie: craft fairs, children's education classes, art courses) to support local artists, teachers, and animal-lovers. Our founder has worked with animals since childhood, and grew to love all kids as she worked with other animal rescues and adoption organizations. When she started her own rescue, she connected with kill-shelters to rescue animals from euthanization. Recently, we have rescued cats, kittens and dogs from southern shelters. The rescue is also affiliated with A Kitten Kadoodle Cafe, a full vegetarian cat cafe that offers affordable prices, children's activities, and animal-themed events.
