URGENT NEED!
UCS has a very urgent volunteer need and we would appreciate your help and prayers. To keep it brief, our Men's Night Shelter Coordinator and longtime employee needs your support. Due to ongoing chemotherapy treatments, he is finding it difficult to stand & walk for long periods of time. He is a very dedicated employee, passionate about UCS's mission, and wants to work, but in order to do so, he requires some temporary support in the evenings (M-F, 6 pm - 10 pm) to serve the needs of our guests. Volunteers can join us one night or as many as they want...the choice is yours.
Some duties of this opportunity are:
- checking in guests and assigning beds
- ensure a safe and secure environment
- keep program spaces clean and organized
- assist and support guests

United Caring Services is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization - a homeless shelter and services agency - that provides people in need access to crisis stabilization services through six programs: a day shelter (drop-in center) for men, women, and children, emergency shelters for single men and women, additional "white/red flag" emergency shelter during inclement weather, an innovative homeless medical respite for men and women, and 21 low income studio apartments. We strive to be a true Community of Caring for all people.
