Are you passionate about yoga, Pilates, Zumba, cycling, or other fitness activities?

The Central and Western Virginia Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association is looking for volunteers to help us with our newest national signature event, The Longest Day. We are looking for assistance with recruiting yoga, Pilates and fitness clubs to join our fundraising efforts. If you are a teacher and want to host a charity class, please respond! Due to COVID-19, we are turning things virtual and we could use your help with a virtual, donation classes.

What's good for your heart, is good for your brain. Help us raise raise funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association. Please join us as we continue to support our community and local caregivers, even though our physical office doors remain closed.

Description

The Longest Day is the day with the most light - the summer solstice. On June 20, thousands of participants from across the world come together to fight the darkness of Alzheimer's through an activity of their choice. Together, they use their creativity and passion to raise funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.
