Discovering My Purpose (DMP), is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 charitable organization focused on youth development. We offer an online positive psychology program to youth aged 14-24 to help them discover their purpose, meet their goals and live their best lives. As part of our charitable mandate, we provide this free program to at-risk youth and to college students.

We are looking to expand our reach on our Social Media channels (Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest), while maintaining our organization’s mission and objectives. This position will include Social media content creation and managing/monitoring social media sites.
(we will consider a currently enrolled College student pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business or Communications and/or a strong interest in Social Media/PR or non-profit marketing seeking Internship)
- Strong writing skills, creative, enthusiastic and responsible.
-Some prior experience in Social Media content creation.
-Ability to work independently

Description
Discovering My Purpose is a 501(c)3 organization focused on helping people live happier, more meaningful lives. To do this, we have a 9-hour educational program that is based on positive psychology concepts.
We have curated activities and concepts from thought leaders who have trained at Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Penn, UCLA and beyond. Our organization works hard to have all of our efforts be evidence-based, so we are constantly measuring our impact.
We have both in-person and online learning opportunities. Our online learning is aimed at college students. We use this revenue to be able to provide the program to at-risk youth for free. The at-risk youth we serve are either in foster care or on probation. We are looking to expand our impact dramatically in 2020.
