Volunteers are essential to our organization’s mission to empower students to pursue their passions through education and thus are an invaluable resource to TGR Foundation. Due to ongoing conditions brought on by COVID-19, TGR Foundation is continuing the virtual volunteer program to support the TGR Learning Lab’s virtual classes.
The TGR Learning Lab is seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals to partake in our Virtual Volunteer Program. If you are interested in supporting students virtually, enjoy working in a collaborative environment or want experience in an educational setting, this opportunity is perfect for you. Virtual volunteers will aid class instruction and various other duties through a digital format. Volunteers will assist instructors with their facilitation of learning through the digital platform Zoom, supervise students during breakout sessions and help instructors update absent students on missed assignments.
Due to the nature of this position, interested applicants must undergo a phone screening, a Zoom interview, a background check and a virtual orientation that will aid them in being successful in their role. Virtual volunteers must also have internet access and a personal computer or device with a functioning camera and microphone. Interested individuals should submit an application to the Volunteer Coordinator, Jose Rivera at jrivera@tgrfoundation.org.
Please contact the Volunteer Coordinator with any questions.
