1) Do you know how to play an instrument or sing? We are looking for volunteers to provide music therapy to hospice patients. Music has shown to help reduce anxiety or depression and help for pain control. Or you can help at memorial services or during special events.
2) Are you artistic? Put your skills to good use and help our hospice patients. It has been shown that art therapy helps hospice patients express themselves, reduce stress, manage behaviors and increases socialization.
Every place we serve has their own Covid-19 regulations that we must follow.
Volunteers will receive training. Volunteers are required to complete a background check and 2 step TB tests at no cost to them.
