Description

As a community based and supported hospice we provided exceptional care and service to patients at end of life and to their loved ones without regard to their financial means or where they call home. We affirm and value life in all that we do. Our care helps patients treasure life and the time they have left. We believe since dying is a part of life, we neither hasten or postpone death. Rather we make it possible for the patient to live and die with dignity by providing palliative (comfort) care that improves the quality of an induvial life. Hospice of Okeechobee care is delivered and coordinated through an interdisciplinary team of highly skilled compassionate healthcare professionals and volunteers. We are available at all times to out patients and families to answer questions and bring them comfort. We offer bereavement services and support to the families before and after the patient passes.
