***Opportunities to see patients face-to-face are limited during COVID-19 precautions.***
Become a friend to a patient and their family by visiting or, during COVID-19 precautions, making calls, sending cards, or showing other support during this unique time in their lives.
Our hospice volunteer team members tell us that getting to know their patients makes a positive, lasting impact on their own lives--often more than they feel they are giving to the patient. They also say they enjoy the feeling of being a team with the other volunteers and our staff.
While Alpha Omega Hospice has cared for families in North Texas for years, our newest location serves Brownwood/Early and the surrounding region. We are thrilled to show our hometowns the Alpha Omega difference through staff and volunteers who have lived in and served the Heartland for long time.
Ask us today about volunteer opportunities! It may be just the right fit for you.

1. Patient Care Volunteers are part of a patient’s care team. They make home visits to offer companionship for patients and relief for caregivers. Examples of patient care volunteer opportunities include reading to the patient, assisting with a hobby, listening, running errands, or grocery shopping.
2. Organizational Volunteers do not work directly with patients and families. Examples of organizational volunteer opportunities include work in Alpha Omega’s office to support our care team or help patients and families through indirect support.
