Social Media Marketing Volunteer
NoSchoolViolence.org is a national leader in bringing new data tools to parents and educators so we can reduce school violence. Raising public awareness of our work is essential for us to succeed.
If you have experience in social media marketing and are enthusiastic about our cause, this position is perfect for you. We are looking for individuals with experience of social media and advertising, and good communication skills.
We need a volunteer to fulfill these duties:
Develop strategies in how to reach desired audiences. * Implement strategies by developing campaigns via social media business suite software. * Manage grass-roots (postings) and targeted (sponsored) content. * Produce social media content from original and/or provided material. * Monitor and produce activity reports.
Skills: Ability to target segments of social media users. * Experience working with social media business suite SW. * Ability to produce artwork and posting copy. * Ability to conduct research and report findings in addressing project challenges. * Use of proprietary tools (Google mail, Google drive, etc.) * Excellent communication skills. * Excellent leadership skills.

NoSchoolViolence is a Seattle-based behavioral research-data analytics organization. Its goal is to develop a variety of proactive approaches to reducing school and youth violence. Its data analytics, social science research, administrative, and school outreach teams reside in Seattle, Washington, while other virtual volunteers live elsewhere in the U.S., the UK, Europe and India.
The organization is a federal 501 (c) (3) (EIN: 82-1796339) and Washington state 501 (c) (3) (UBI# 603562651). Current partners include Microsoft, Elastic LLC, Alteryx, Washington State Capital Region ESD 113, Seattle Data for Good and the Seattle General Assembly. Conversations are in progress for partnerships with Google, Facebook, UNICEF, the CDC, university adolescent violence programs, and the Gates Foundation.
