The Marin Conservation League (MCL) has a great volunteer opportunity for someone with financial expertise. If you've been looking for a way to get handson with MCL, this could be your chance.
The Treasurer is a key member of our Board who:
oversees MCL's financial operations and investments
provides monthly and annual financial reports to the Board
manages MCL's annual 990 filing
develops MCL's annual budget
participates on the Executive Committee to assist with highlevel organizational decisions
interacts on a regular basis with our Office Administrator to review accounts receivables in Quickbooks and donor transactions in DonorPerfect
If you've got the skills above, a willingness to learn and adhere to MCL's reporting rules and operational policies, and 23 hours a week available, please contact:

What We Do: Nonprofit founded in 1934 to preserve, protect and enhance the natural assets of Marin County. Who We Are: MCL is the county’s most respected and effective environmental organization, successfully pursuing its unique mission to preserve, protect, and enhance the natural assets of Marin County for the public. MCL remains vigilant, ensuring that Marin’s natural assets and resources are protected through prudent action, including acquisition, advocacy, and conservation. By serving as the countywide authority on environmental policy, MCL studies and analyzes issues; proposes policies; educates and mobilizes citizens; and monitors outcomes. Issues are tracked by MCL's Issues Committees, which make recommendations to the Board of Directors.
