Create Economic Opportunities in Underserved Areas thru Tech Marketing

Bright young people in locations like the Gaza strip, Venezuela, Egypt, Syria and many other non-standard locations with legal and technical barriers to participation, have limited economic opportunities despite their talents and abilities.

Software, remote coding, in particular is an opportunity for individuals to make a healthy wage remotely, but most companies will not hire outside standard locations, or will not be willing to work with a coder whose Internet is sometimes unreliable.

Volunteers will contact HR depts of companies, organizations and NGOs - in particular those who have a purpose of uplifting economies of these regions - and find out what can be done to open up remote job opportunities for coders and groups in these areas. If we can troubleshoot the problems and establish success stories, we can increase the opportunities for people. We will also support and spread the word about the existing mentoring and teaching tools online, and connect people to resources as needed. (A huge amount of 'learning code' resources already exist, and many young people do take advantage of them, but not everyone sees it as a possibility so spreading the word is also helpful.)

Other types of remote work could be included as well, the purpose is just to increase opportunities for people globally in areas where it is currently difficult to find.
