QUICK Overview: Help slow the spread of coronavirus by participating in awareness campaigns and mask giveaways. WHAT: Be part of a campaign of various projects to spread awareness about coronavirus mitigation, working directly with the public and community groups such as neighborhood councils. ABOUT: This opportunity is in partnership with the Encino Neighborhood Council. We will be joined by some of their volunteers as well! Encino Neighborhood Council is designed to give stakeholders, who are residents, business owners, employees, members of organizations and other community members a forum for addressing issues important to the Encino community. IMPACT: Your efforts will directly contribute to slowing the spread of coronavirus by providing the Los Angeles community with various resources, such as distributing face masks and posting informative flyers at local parks and markets. REQUIREMENTS: Commit as least 3 hours to handing out mitigation supplies such as reference material and masks in outdoor locations. Be professional and respectful, as you will be representing L.A. Works
