Edgewood offers innovative mental health, family support, and education services that provide vital assistance to at-risk youth and families in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Edgewood is looking for folks who have enthusiasm, a passion for working with youth and a skill to share.
In this case, we are looking for an individual(s) interested in acting as a Financial Literacy Teacher for youth (12-17) and families in our residentially-based programs.
As a volunteer, you will be asked to lead an activity for a small group of families in partnership with Edgewood's counseling staff. While you do not need professional training, it would be helpful for you to have direct experience or some form(s) of training and/or knowledge basic financial literacy skills (ex: managing money, budget, credit and debt, financial decision making, and/or savings, etc.).
If this sparks your interest, please complete our online interest form.
