Ballotpedia is your go-to source for neutral coverage of American politics. Ballotpedia is hard at work getting ready for the general election in November 2020, and kicking off our new volunteer project!
On Friday, August 7, we’re getting together (virtually) to research contact information for local candidates that will be on November's ballot. Our goal for this next volunteer project is to reach out to as many local candidates as we can in order to get them to fill out our Candidate Survey, which once filled out and verified goes on our site to provide readers with expanded election coverage before casting a ballot in November. We believe that every voter deserves quality information before voting. Step one of providing that is gathering all the contact information!
One hour shifts are available from 2:00pm-5:00pm EST (but we'd love to see you the whole time if you're able!). We'll have an official playlist, exchange summertime stories, and try to get as many candidates' contact information as we can. After our work, we'll hang out together on a virtual happy hour.
Please find more information below, and as always, thank you for supporting Ballotpedia!
