Northern Essex Elder Transport (NEET) is a volunteer transportation program for the elderly who need curb to curb transportation for medical appointments, essential shopping and social interaction. We need volunteers to drive seniors to their appointment. Time commitment is very flexible. Average trip is 2 hours and less than 30 miles. Drivers are needed for local trips as well as assistance with appointments in Peabody, Danvers, Burlington and Boston, however you drive when and where you want.
Drivers use their own automobiles and are given a substantial mileage reimbursement and supplemental insurance.

A non-profit, volunteer transportation organization that recruits volunteer drivers and administers mileage reimbursements and all other administrative tasks for 13 Councils on Aging: Amesbury, Boxford, Georgetown, Groveland, Haverhill, Merrimac, Methuen, Newbury, Newburyport, North Andover, Rowley, Salisbury, and West Newbury.
