ORGANIZATION: Bay Area Green Tours

Bay Area Green Tours 501(c)3 creates interactive tours and experiences highlighting the regenerative economy in action, to inspire and educate youth and adults to build a more enduring, resilient, and just future.

We have been operating since 2008 and work remotely with a committed, fun, and sharp group of interns and volunteers.

We are looking for a volunteer to edit existing footage with the possibility of being hired to work with BAGT Lens. This position requires a self-motivated individual who has a passion for storytelling and sustainability and a talent with technology.

​​Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit video footage into engaging narratives for our audience

  • Collaborate with team members to understand project goals and vision

  • Review and refine edits based on feedback from the team

  • Manage and organize video files to ensure ease of access

About you:

  • Experienced with video editing and production

  • Proficient in video editing software

  • Organized, adaptive, and reliable, with excellent communication skills

  • Passionate about environmental issues and solutions for the future

  • Experience with the Google Suite of tools

We provide educational tours and events that demonstrate the sustainable economy in action, inspire support of local green businesses, and empower people to incorporate environmental responsibility and social justice into their personal and professional lives.

Description

Bay Area Green Tours (BAGT) serves as a conduit to solutions for a more sustainable future. BAGT is committed to focusing on positive, innovative solutions and models. Tours have been offered for companies & conferences, and for young people who are able to connect to role models and organizations which inspire them towards environmental activism and career paths. We are moving toward Virtual Tours due to COVID and will have in-person tours on a case-by-case basis. Participants learn about innovative green-certified businesses, people & organizations in the nation’s environmental epicenter, enabling them to find resources or take action to help mitigate climate change and live more sustainably.
