Monday - Thursday
Greet clients as the arrive to Sharing Tree and complete all pertinent paperwork. Confirm members of their family and provide a brief overview of their shopping experience. Escort them to the shopping floor, give them a shopping cart, and lead them to their first department where they will begin shopping. Once each shopper is finished in a department, unload their selections from their cart, lead them to the next department, and begin folding and bagging their items. Record the number of items they have selected and, once they have finished shopping, escort them to their car and help load their bags.
This is our most relational volunteer opportunity at Sharing Tree. We hope that Personal Shoppers will build a relationship and rapport with the client as they shop.

Description
Our facility is stocked with clothing, household items and basic necessities, laid out like a department store where visitors can shop based on their unique needs and preferences. Most of the goods are donated, the store is primarily staffed and stocked by volunteers, and all clients are referred by one of our partner agencies.
