ROCKING THE ROAD FOR A CURE INC
We need a volunteer who will deliver food from the food pantry in Manhassett, NY, Town of Oyster Bay, and Rockville Center NY for a woman who is going through treatment for breast cancer and is not able to work and is in need of food for her/his family. This pick up is on Tuesday afternoon in Manhasset, Friday late morning into early afternoon in Town of Oyster Bay and Rockville center 9am to 11am pick up on Saturday.
We have more patients with breast cancer who are located in Queens and Nassau County who are in need of food. Therefore, Rocking the Road for a Cure needs more volunteers to meet the needs of these patients. As we expand and have more patients in need our pantry pick up destinations can expand into other areas.
I would appreciate it if there are volunteers who can assist us with this program. If you can't do every week perhaps volunteers can alternate weeks. Please contact Dawn Frey at 646-244-3034 or 516-417-1911 or email rockingtheroadforacure@gmail.com.
