Compassionate and reliable volunteers needed to visit homebound patients on hospice service. COVID-19 has restricted many hospice patients from receiving regular visitors. Patients are in need of companionship and care. Patients enjoy reminiscing, being read or sung to, playing games, working on legacy projects, or just having a empathic person to sit beside them.
Volunteers will receive comprehensive training in working with hospice patients. Ongoing educational opportunities are available for interested volunteers. Volunteers must have own car. All days available!
Our Mission: Honoring Life ~ Offering Hope. Our Vision: Recognize that individuals and families are the true experts in their own care. Support our team members so they can put our patients and families first. Find creative solutions which add quality to life. Strive for excellence beyond accepted standards. Increase the community's awareness of hospice as part of the continuum of care.
Volunteers are part of foundation of excellent hospice care. Seasons Hospice has different volunteer roles that enhance the quality of life for patients and provide meaningful & rewarding volunteer experiences.
