The Adult Literacy Program at BC3 is recruiting volunteer tutors to assist students in our Adult Education Program. Our free, state-funded classes help adults in Butler County, PA earn their GED or improve their skills in reading and math. We also work with a significant number of recent immigrants to help them increase their English ability. Volunteer tutors provide supplemental instruction that complements what students learn in class. In-person and remote tutoring opportunities are available. No experience is required. All materials and training are provided. Tutors should have at least a bachelor’s degree or be enrolled in college. Volunteers must be PA residents even for remote opportunities. Contact: Ben Getkin, 724-287-8711 x8800.
