Global Paint for Charity is in search of an Executive Assistant to provide crucial administrative support to our executive team and assist with various organizational tasks within our GPC organization.

Ideal candidates will bring proven experience as an Executive Assistant, showcasing strong organizational skills, attention to detail, exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, and efficient data management. Proficiency in the Google Suites platform at an intermediate to advanced level is highly desirable.

Main Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Demonstrating GPC Core Values, including Commitment to Those in Need, Integrity, Excellence, Urgency, Collaboration, Professionalism, Respect, and Teamwork.
  • Administrative support: Assisting the executive team in managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and organizing meetings.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls, ensuring timely responses.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining and updating organizational documents such as policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Communication: Maintaining effective communication channels between the executive team and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Managing correspondence, inquiries, and requests from various parties.
  • Project Coordination: Supporting the executive team in planning, organizing, and executing special projects or initiatives.
  • Event Planning: Assisting in planning and coordinating events, fundraisers, and community outreach activities.
  • General support: Undertaking various ad hoc tasks and assignments to facilitate the smooth functioning of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Passion for the environment and community assistance.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in all Google Suites software applications (Sheets, Forms, etc.).
  • Ability to communicate conflicts, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Efficient time management skills.
  • Nonprofit experience is advantageous.

Time Commitments:

  • 5 to 8 hours per week, remote work from home.
  • 1 to 2 hours for virtual team meetings.

Mission is to recover Latex paint from businesses and residents to change the lives of people in underserved communities throughout the world, one gallon at a time. Since 2010, as many as 320,000 tons of discarded paints have been removed from the waste stream, recycled, then shipped to 45 countries in West Africa, the Caribbean, Central & South America, and targeted cities in the U.S. The goal is to use colors to help beautify the local structures, boost people's confidence and happiness, change lives, and assist vulnerable individuals in reaching their full potential. Everyone wins!

Our efforts have reached a population of 13000000. Our worldwide volunteers have completed 625800 volunteer hours by painting beautiful murals and family homes, including schools, sports centers, orphanages, churches, and homeless shelters. At Global Paint, we believe everyone deserves to live in a beautiful and colorful environment, no matter their circumstances; increasing access to paint in underserved communities could improve the local economic power for millions of vulnerable families and uplift the spirit of the people.
