Our Outreach and Community Education programming supports individuals, communities, and organizations in effecting personal and organizational changes to build inclusive environments that recognize and promote the value of diversity. CE Trainers will be certified to teach a number of LYG's basic LGBTQ+ awareness, general inclusivity, and cultural humility training programs. Note that this position requires training with our Community Education and Outreach Coordinator, and continuing education as needed. Our CE training is a professional program that requires certification completion and maintenance to ensure accurate execution of offered programs.

Description
Louisville Youth Group (LYG) is the primary LGBTQIA+ nonprofit community serving LGBTQIA+ youth in Kentuckiana. We provide a safe space for gender and sexuality diverse young adults to grow their identities, learn leadership skills, and develop the tools needed to both thrive personally and to act as agents of change in their communities.
LYG accomplishes these goals through our primary weekly programming, targeted leadership development opportunities, community partnerships, retreats, and through outreach to local school systems, healthcare agencies, and other groups providing education and care to LGBTQIA+ youth and young adults.
