Bill Wilson Center -Santa Cruz Host Homes

Bill Wilson Center's Host Home Program/Shared Housing Program partners with young people experiencing housing instability to build a sustainable community where youth will continue to thrive and feel supported in a safe, welcoming, host home environment. BWC's Santa Cruz program is a community-based, six-month long, independent living arrangement. We are looking for adult volunteers who are interested in becoming Host Homes. Training and support is provided through BWC. Shared Housing provides youth experiencing housing instability: housing, case management, support, and referrals. The program is designed to allow youth to continue to live, attend school, and work within their home communities. Youth will have a private bedroom within the Host's home and receive case management, support and referrals through BWC. Get Involved...Select the Red "Express Interest" button below **This is a Referral Opportunity, which means it is run directly by one of our nonprofit partners. Once you express interest, someone from the partner organization should follow up with you shortly to discuss confirming you as a volunteer for this opportunity.
