Sierra Roots is seeking new Board members As a Board member, you would prepare for and attend our monthly Board meetings. You would become familiar with our programs, our dedicated community of volunteers, and with the chronically homeless participants in our programs. You would show your committment to our mission by engaging in Sierra Roots events. You would weigh in on the organization’s financial decisions and participate in planning fundraising activities. We seek individuals who are team players, who have leadership experience and could not be content to be passive members. Prior experience on other Board of Directors is not a requirement. Will you join us as we endeavor to fufill the vision and mission of Sierra Roots?

Sierra Roots is committed to providing a secure and safe place for people who are chronically homeless. We employ a relationship-based approach that identifies individual needs and preserves the dignity of each person. Our goal is a community in which homeless people experience inclusion rather than isolation and where they can progress toward health and self-reliance.
