Share your knowledge of American sports with hostellers! Accompany hostel guests to a local sporting event, such as a UCSC basketball game. OR Creatively organize a sporting event for hostel guests to participate in, such as a beach volleyball game. Plan and market the event. Initiate the activity by setting up the event, meeting guests, and arranging public transportation (if necessary). Clean up, or institute closure of the activity. Assess success of event to create positive change for next event. Commitment: Varies according to your schedule and/or the community calendar. You can volunteer on a schedule pre arranged by SCHS for the activity. Benefits: Meeting hostel guests from international locations. Participating in the events you help to create.
