The Infrastructure Volunteer serves as a handyperson; fixes things, maintains equipment, helps complete tasks as needed for the whole space. Supports The Forge in general by following procedures and improving the areas of making that we have. Location: 13024 Bitney Springs Rd, Nevada City, CA 95959 Time Commitment/Schedule: 6 hours a week, at a dedicated time of the week Respnsibilities and Duties: Holds a dedicated time during the week Fixes equipment etc, maintains, builds, moves, cleans, sorts, and in general works on the space Communicates with executive team clearly and regularly Shares tasks with other volunteers as needed Qualifications: Experience as a handyman or experienced in working in wood or metal shops, has some ability for repair of equipment or interest in such; knowledge or safety or OSHA a plus Other Considerations: We orient on being in The Forge and requirements for their area All names go thru Megan’s Law Database https://www.meganslaw.ca.gov/
