The Animal Pad

We are searching for an Intake Coordinator who will help us communicate all new dogs that are rescued to the rest of our team! This volunteer will be in all of the rescue chats that our Director of Operations is in, and we need this volunteer to be our Director of Operation's right hand woman/man and send all of the intake e-mails. As soon as we know exactly who is coming, when, history of the dogs, and any other important information, they will send the intake e-mails to our intake e-mail address the day that they are coming, so that all teams across the board know before we get a dog in the rescue. This person needs to be very organized and tech savvy! They will be in multiple Facebook Messenger and Slack threads to stay in the loop of which lucky pups will be welcomed as TAP dogs.

About The Animal Pad

Mission Statement

The Animal Pad is a non profit, all breed dog rescue based in San Diego, California. We are 100% Volunteer Run, donation based and we rescue dogs primarily from the streets of Mexico.

Here at TAP, we give voice to the voiceless and our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and find them the best homes possible.

The Animal Pad was founded in 2010 and we are 100% Volunteer Run and Donation Based. We rescue dogs primarily off the streets of Mexico. In addition to rescuing, we have an activism arm called TAPACT where we bring the Community together to tackle issues that affect dogs in hopes to evoke permanent change. Here at TAP, we give voice to the voiceless and our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and find them the best homes possible.
