This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for a talented and mature filmmaker to make a real social impact with their truly rewarding work as a PARC volunteer. S/he will play a crucial role helping PARC build a powerful framework of stories and evidence on its work in Uganda. S/he will help in making short impact films and mini project documentaries (as well as case study portraits if possible).
S/he will be responsible for planning, capturing, sound recording, lighting and editing of the films which will help drive action with key audiences. Supported by PARC's Director, s/he will then assist to proactively look for opportunities to help PARC to reach a broad audience with or using these films/documentaries. In additional to making films, s/he will play an important role building the capacity of PARC's volunteers/staff and primary actors in storytelling.
