Nourish Box is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to ending the destructive effects of hunger. We accomplish our mission by delivering meal kits to New York families and communities impacted by hunger.
COVID-19 has led to record levels of food insecurity. At some point this year, 54 million Americans - including one in four children - may not know where their next meal is coming from. More than 1.2 million New York City residents, or 14.4 percent, are food insecure. COVID-19 will most likely increase the number of NYC food-insecure residents to 2 million.
Nourish Box is determined to provide nourishing and fulfilling food to those struggling with hunger. We partner with food banks, community leaders and mutual aid groups to distribute our meal kits at events, or to directly deliver meal kits to families or individuals.
