The Bereavement Call volunteer will place telephone calls to hospice patients or their families as part of the hospice bereavement program and under the supervision of the bereavement coordinator. Volunteers will be provided training and a script to help guide the calls. Volunteers will document their telephone calls and provide feedback to the hospice team regarding the patient's and families' condition.
