Hi Teachers!
At Codeucate, you will teach courses such as Python, Java, and Web Development. Please ensure the experience level of the language you are interested in teaching is intermediate or above. Lesson plans will be given out a week before courses start and classes will be conducted through Zoom. We do all of our coding on repl.it, an online (IDE) code editor and compiler, just so it is both convenient for the volunteers as well as the students to share their projects.
You must commit to the courses that you sign up for as if you miss more than 1 class, no hours will be provided. Our courses are 2 hours, with a 10-15 minute break in the middle for students. Our courses are 12 total hours of teaching, split up over 6 weeks. You will be assigned a time to teach based on your availability and you must ensure this 2 hour time slot is set aside for class for all 6 weeks. Classes usually have between 5-10 students.
Please apply here to be an instructor: https://forms.gle/eox1Qv3tw5JLzmtA8
Join our Discord where new course signups are posted. To be an instructor you must apply on the form above and wait for the next course cycle Teaching Form to be posted in the #announcements channel.

Mission Statement
We see that computer science education is lacking among the younger generations, even during a time when the entire world is moving online. We seek to address this by offering remote computer science courses so students are better prepared to enter the increasingly technological society. We also seek to provide a way for the computer science community to maintain human interaction and collaboration in these times.
Description
We have provided thousands of hours of instructions for students, and have employees from all across the USA. We are headquartered in Chicago, but are expanding across the United States. We rely on volunteer service to keep our courses free or almost free for the students who are trying to learn computer science.
