You will teach courses such as Python, Java, C++, HTML/CSS, Javascript, coding concepts, and more. You should only sign up for courses that you have experience in or have taken classes in. Lesson plans will be given out a day in advance and courses will be conducted through Zoom. We do all of our coding on, an online code editor and compiler, just so it is both convenient for the volunteer as well as the student.

You must commit to the courses that you sign up for.

Our courses are typically 2 hours in length, with a 20 minute break in between. Our courses are usually 12 total hours of teaching, split up over 3-6 weeks. You will have your own Zoom breakout room with 5-10 students.

About Codeucate

1304 Georgetown Way, Vernon Hills, IL 60061, US

Mission Statement

We see that computer science education is lacking among the younger generations, even during a time when the entire world is moving online. We seek to address this by offering remote computer science courses so students are better prepared to enter the increasingly technological society. We also seek to provide a way for the computer science community to maintain human interaction and collaboration in these times.

We have provided thousands of hours of instructions for students, and have employees from all across the USA. We are headquartered in Chicago, but are expanding across the United States. We rely on volunteer service to keep our courses free or almost free for the students who are trying to learn computer science.
