The Duty Officer/ Dispatcher ensures timely activation and monitoring of local and regional Disaster Action Team (DAT) responses. The Duty Officer supports the DAT program at the chapter level.
The Duty Officer/ Dispatcher will accept chapter-wide calls from national dispatch and find the appropriate volunteer to respond and contact them. This is a flexible on-call VIRTUAL position. Training and equipment provided. Must have internet connection and live in an area with Verizon reception.
