A Red Circle, founded in 2017, exists to promote community betterment in North St. Louis County, through a racial equity lens. Projects have included community gardens, an affordable farmer's market, voter registration and education drives, education resource fairs, Kwanzaa celebrations, and more. This year, we pivoted to meet immediate community needs due to Covid-19. We supply residents with groceries, cleaning supplies, hygiene products, school supplies, mental health resources, and more. To maximize our reach for the community, A Red Circle is part of an amazing group called Stl Mutual Aid. This local chapter of a larger mutual aid pod is led by Solidarity Economy Stl. Through this collective, A Red Circle is able to support families in North County who need help with immediate needs such as groceries, cleaning supplies, hygiene products, diapers, school supplies, and more.
We are seeking volunteers to deliver grocery orders, school supplies, etc., one day a week, on a weekly basis to families in North St. Louis County. You will pick up orders from our Wellston location, conduct porch drop offs, and call families to let them know you are done. We can supply masks. Deliveries go out Wednesdays and Fridays.
