The American Red Cross has a special need for volunteers who can support a disaster response to help assess people’s health and provide hands-on care in alignment with their professional unencumbered license (RN, LPN/LVN, APRN, NP, EMT, paramedic, PA). Please note that you must be licensed in one of the areas listed in the United States in order to be considered for this role. If you are not licensed in the United States you are not eligible for this role.
This is not an Emergency Room/hospital/or urgent care environment
After a Disaster strikes we have a number of ways you can support our clients. You may assist with activities of daily living, provide health education and help to replace medications, durable medical equipment or consumable medical supplies.
COVID-19 AND STAYING SAFE The need for volunteers is constant and continues to evolve as the Red Cross navigates the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The safety of everyone is our top priority and our guidelines reflect the latest CDC safety recommendations.
