At Restore Education, our mission is to restore individuals’ potential for success on their path to college and career through the transformative power of education.
Restore Education Career Advising coaches assist with the following:
Helping our students create their first professional resume and cover letter, teaching them how to highlight their skills to improve their outcomes in a competitive job market
Prepare students for virtual interviews including follow up procedures and telephone etiquette. Discuss workplace best practices and procedures.
Help organize career workshops to introduce our students to different career options and paths.
Career Advising Coaches work in conjunction with our Career Success department. To minimize potential exposure to our students, staff, and volunteers, all interactions are currently through Zoom. Minimum requirements: high speed internet, personal laptop with camera, and headphones with a microphone.
