The First and Third Thursdays of the month 9:00am-11:00am

Help us clean up the Guadalupe River Park by picking up litter on the trails!!

With shelter in place and a much different summer of service underway, we are hosting more community workdays at the Guadalupe River Park. Limited tickets available to keep us working safely in this time as well as abiding by County Public Health recommendations. We know you are anxious to help the Park, please join us as we practice safe measures of volunteerism.

We will be adhering to County Public Health recommendations, which includes:

  • You must bring and wear a face mask at all times during the volunteer event. If you are unable to wear a mask for any reason this event will not be a good fit for you.

  • Social distancing (6 feet apart) is required unless volunteers are from the same household.


In addition, please note that:
  • Volunteers must abide by rules mentioned in the pre-cleanup safety talk.

  • Please bring a full water bottle (the water fountain will be unavailable).

  • Restrooms will not be available for use.


Volunteers are asked to arrive by 9:00am for a contact-less sign-in, workday instructions will follow. Please arrive on time as the safety discussion will start promptly at 9:00am. We will be providing necessary tools for cleanup and disposable gloves. The workday will run through 11:00am.

Minimum age to volunteer is 10 years old. Chaperones are required age 10-15.

Parking at the Rotary PlayGarden parking lot at 490 Coleman Avenue and in front of the visitor center at 438 Coleman Avenue. We will meet at the bus loading zone between the visitor center and the PlayGarden.

Air quality projected to be "unhealthy for sensitive groups" or rain cancels the event.
