We are Codeucate, a nonprofit Computer Science organization dedicated to fostering coding abilities and computer science literacy amongst youth through live remote lessons. We are currently looking for volunteers to help market and perform outreach. How you would be involved would be up to you, but ideally you would be performing tasks such as:

  • Reaching out to local potential clients such as libraries and education systems.
  • Helping out with our social media by responding to direct inquiries and making posts.
  • Developing flyers and other graphical mediums for Codeucate to use.

Think you might be interested? Feel free to reach out anytime and we will respond as soon as possible!

Please apply here: https://forms.gle/eox1Qv3tw5JLzmtA8, earlier the better as volunteer slots are filling up.

Thanks,

The Codeucate Team

About Codeucate

Mission Statement

We see that computer science education is lacking among the younger generations, even during a time when the entire world is moving online. We seek to address this by offering remote computer science courses so students are better prepared to enter the increasingly technological society. We also seek to provide a way for the computer science community to maintain human interaction and collaboration in these times.

Description

We have provided thousands of hours of instructions for students, and have employees from all across the USA. We are headquartered in Chicago, but are expanding across the United States. We rely on volunteer service to keep our courses free or almost free for the students who are trying to learn computer science.
