We have the following positions open on our board:

Secretary
Treasurer
Member at Large

Board members must commit to serve a two-year term.
Board meetings take place quarterly on Tuesday evenings.
Board members agree to participate in fundraising for Resources of Hope.
Board members are expected to serve on at least one of the following committees: Event, Governance, Financial, Fundraising or Marketing.

We are currently conducting our meetings via Zoom.

Mission Statement

Resources of Hope is dedicated to providing for the physical and emotional needs of foster youth living in Central Indiana.

Description

There are nearly 20,000 children in foster care in the state of Indiana. Many children and youth come into care with just the clothes they are wearing. Resources of Hope is driven by a single goal; to provide children in foster care with the physical items that they need and help equip foster parents and the community to meet the emotional needs of foster youth. We strive to build intentional relationships and make a positive impact with all of our efforts.

  • Approximately 3 hours/month.
  • Previous Board experience a plus. Knowledge of foster care needs a plus. Willing/Open to attend trainings/classes in areas of need for vulnerable children.
