Fundraiser Support Volunteer
ORGANIZATION: Rutherford Housing Partnership
Please visit the new page to apply.
Rutherford Housing Partnership is a small community organization that provides urgently needed repairs to the homes of qualified low-income homeowners in Rutherford County, a large rural county in the Foothills of Western North Carolina. RHP provides materials; volunteers provide labor. We believe everyone deserves safe, livable housing.
In order to serve a great portion of our community, we would like to host some online, virtual fundraisers. The ideal volunteer is someone who is:
- motivated
- organized
- creative
- go-getter
- has flexible availability, can provide a 1-3 hours of support during the planning time frames and maybe 5-6 hours of support on a week when a fundraiser is launched
- has some background in fundraising or organizing community events
- has a passion for helping small, community organizations
- can communicate well using remote tools (phone, email, zoom, etc)
- might have some virtual fundraising event ideas
Virtual fundraising is new for our organization but COVID has resulted in cancelling some of our in-person events and programs. Not knowing when life will "return to normal", we are looking for a volunteer to help us adapt to a new (hopefully temporary) normal.
