ORGANIZATION: The Animal Pad

The Animal Pad all-breed dog rescue is looking for a Graphic Designer to join our Creative Team! We're in need of 1-2 volunteers to assist with our graphic requests (some examples being the graphics posted to our IG stories, cover photo graphics for our events on Facebook, fliers for big events we want to advertise heavily, etc.). Overall time commitment is only about 1 hour/week. We do have brand guidelines and some templates available, but you'll have the freedom to create designs outside of those guidelines to submit for approval/use! We are looking for volunteers who can make a commitment of at least 6 months. ***Prior experience with Canva is highly preferred, as that's our main go-to for our team's graphic needs.

Mission Statement

The Animal Pad is a nonprofit, all-breed dog rescue based in San Diego, CA that focuses on saving dogs from the streets of Mexico and high kill shelters. We get them the vet care they need, place them in foster homes and then find them loving forever families. Our mission is to form a safe space for dogs experiencing crisis and neglect, and to build a community of compassion through education, rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption. Our community of volunteers and fosters strives to ensure that all dogs get a fighting chance, and believes that no case is too extreme to be helped - meaning our rescue is full of perfectly imperfect dogs who can’t wait to meet you!

Here at TAP, we give voice to the voiceless and our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and find them the best homes possible. Founded in 2010, The Animal Pad is volunteer run and funded entirely by donations. We rescue dogs primarily off the streets of Mexico as well as high kill shelters here in California, and provide them full medical care and a loving foster home to heal in before they head to their adoptive home.
