Job Description:

The Ideal Candidate is/has:

-Minimum of one year of dog training experience.

-Excellent customer service skills and outgoing with survivors and staff.

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

-Demonstrates strong time-management skills.

-Enjoys teaching, training, and helping others.

-Assertive and takes initiative.

-Upbeat and positive attitude.

-High energy and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute class and individual training plans for survivors and their pets through the use of positive training methods.

- Provide instruction and advice to survivors on how to improve and maintain behavior at home using positive training techniques.

-Maintain accurate records and activity logs for services provided.

-Advise and assist staff on training-related issues, when necessary.

- Maintain the safety of pets and staff at all times.

-Work as a member of a team in a fast-paced environment by using effective communication skills.

-Provide great customer service and create lasting relationships with survivors and their pets.

Description

Her Choice Advocacy’s purpose is to give intellectual, moral and social instruction to society on why all women who conceived through sexual assault and the children conceived should be protected by law, have social inclusion, and be free from re-victimization.

We seek to provide supportive services, resource assistance, advocacy, social inclusion, public awareness, and campaigning for policy provisions. Further, we wish to educate professionals, advocates, legislatures, and leaders on how to articulate proper comprehensive, culturally sensitive based services and support for women who conceived from sexual assault.
