Host a Virtual Group Activity for Seniors

To help keep seniors socially engaged, we are searching for volunteers who are interested in hosting fun activities with groups of seniors. If you are passionate about a specific activity you think a senior would be interested in or just want to give back to the seniors in your community, this role is perfect for you.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design an activity around exercise, games, films, books, etc. that will engage a group of seniors
• Host the activity virtually using Google Hangouts

Requirements:

• Have access to a webcam to host a Google Hangouts meeting
• Have the skills and knowledge around the activity you’d like to host
• Be dependable and punctual

Training and Supervision:

• After you submit your application, you’ll attend a 45-minute volunteer orientation and training presentation done by a CareShepherd expert

Time Commitment:

• We ask that you’ll be able to donate at least 1 hour to host a group activity
• We will work around your schedule!
